Recycle Local Office Space
We all spend too much time commuting to the office. Either by bus, train or more likely, by car. But why?
Many of us would like to work from home, but when we bought our homes, we bought them for our families, not for our employers. So working from home is not always a viable option.
So, what about identifying a local empty shop or recently closed down pub. Then convert it into a small simply serviced office facility with broadband, photocopier and seperated work spaces. There probably isn’t a need to worry about installing telephones because users can just use their mobile phones. Users could rent a room but many may choose to just rent a desk. Think Regus, but at a local, simplified and affordable level.
A bonus would be to make it cozy and comfortable like a Starbucks or coffe shop, but just for local business people to use as a remote office. Users could be charged a flat rate for a day or for a month and use it when they want to.
