Inexpensive SMS Software for African Schools

It appears that schools in Africa and elsewhere need low cost and easy to use software to be able to send out SMS alerts to parents for events and situations. The software would need to be able to easily used by the school so they could send alerts about absences and messages of support and congratulations when the child has a good grade or performance.

The software could hold the names and primary and secondary SMS contact numbers for students by class so teachers could quickly locate students and send positive feedback messages as well as important notification messages.

In remote areas the mobile phone has become an important communication device and educators would like to take more advantage it by providing better feedback to parents regarding their child’s performance.
