Napster for Books
I am not sure how this would work exactly…but. I believe the Napster concept would work well with reading material. Instead of sharing music, people would be sharing digital books and informational material. FREE. It turned Napster into a giant, (At least for a while) and I would love it because I read alot. I know its kind of basic but the best ideas usualy are.

I like this idea but wonder how you’d control copyrighted content? Remember that, while Napster was very popular with the file sharing crowd, it faced a LOT of resistance from copyright holders and their agents.
In order for this to work, one would have to find a way to control copyright. Sites like Amazon.com and iTunes have done this for audio books so I’m sure it could be done for e-books.
